Every time Tabula Rasa is launched, the launcher will automatically check with the game server to see if there is an updated version of the client available. If there is, the updates will be downloaded and automatically installed before the game starts.

Alternatively, the PlayNC Launcher may be run as a background task that appears in the system tray. The launcher contains an option to automatically download and install updates while the computer is idle. Note that the PlayNC Launcher will update all NCsoft games when automatic updates are enabled.
